For those of you that did not get a good seat at the inauguration

Check out this Full Screen Gigapan Viewer?  You can see all of ther former presidents in the background.  I was looking for snipers on the tops of buildings but unable to spot any.

http ://

This is a cool web site – Very similar to what we were looking at in my MBA class.  The GigaPanSMprocess allows users to upload, share, and explore brilliant gigapixel+ panoramas from around the globe.  Amazing stuff and you don’t have to leave your cave.

Also, my group E-Commerce is doing our case study on LinkedIn this week after the final.  If you ever wonder what LinkedIn can do for you I have the perfect web site for you.

I have over 200 contacts with relatives, co-workers and recruiters.  Its a great way to stay in touch with a professional touch.

Dust off the old Xbox it is worth more than you think

Ok, I have an Xbox the old one that is black and has lots of dust on it since I got tired of playing Halo 2.  My Wii is now the sweetheart of all of my gaming fun.

So last week my friend asked me if I still owned my old Xbox and I said “yeah” but it almost did not make my move to my new house since I never use it anymore.  I was surprised when he then offered me $75 dollars for it.  He then asked me if I knew you can store like 400 DVD’s on that thing?  His good friend set up all of his home entertainment through an old Xbox.  I’m thinking I may check this out, If I can get enough free time I may try to convert my Xbox into the home media center.  I don’t know if I am smart enough but the article below promises that it can be done in 30 minutes.

The funny thing is that what was once considered almost junk is making a comeback!  Of course this requires the old technology to be  modified and reconfigured.  This could be a wave of the future taking old electronics and making them useful once again.  Basically teaching old electronics new tricks.

Wikipedia refers to this as E-Waste or E-scrap a term used broadly for all leftover electronics.   Other Electronics that are fully recyclable include;

• Cell Phones
• Ink Jet Printer Cartridges
• DVD Movies & Videogames
• Portable DVD Players
• Laptop Computers
• MP3 Players
• X-Boxes, Sony Playstations, Wii
• Digital Cameras & Digital Video Cameras (DVRs)
• Digital Picture Frames
• Portable Navigation & GPS Devices (Garmin, Magellan, Tom-Tom)

There are places all over the Internet that are interested in taking these off of your hands.  Some for good causes and others will just make a small contribution to your wallet instead.

Completely non Tech related:  Finally, I thought it was interesting that in college I had 3 bikes stolen from me most of them worth about $200.00 so I caried this huge bar around made out of Kryptonite.

Well the most famous cyclist in the world Lance Armstrong just got his stolen.  He kind of needs it back.  Reminds me of Pee Wee’s big adventure.   “There’s no basement in the Alamo!”

Is your blog not feeling the love? Want to generate more traffic?

My blog is very lonely, sadly I’m averaging about 2 viewers per day.  Its even gone down since I posted the Britney Spears “Hit me baby one more time remake”   Check that out if you have not already.  Personally, for my money it does not get any better…

However, as I was looking at the (traffic) numbers I noticed that one day my blog went up to a full 52 views one day!  How???  You ask…   There is actaully this web site the captures new Blogs moments after they are borne or published.  Its really cool and it picked up my lame a** blog and posted it.

You can even go there and put your Blog address in and it will post if for you.  Check it out!!!  I had 13 more today just from posting it.

Go Green in 3 minutes or less & only fly 1st Class…

  Trina in the House!

Does anyone ever use the Yellow or White Pages anymore?  How much easier is it to Google something or find a listing online?  Do you get a little hacked off when someone delivers this huge waste of paper to your front door once a year?  Well now its easy to opt out.  Just hit the link.  It took me less than 3 minutes and they will never deliver to my address again as long as I live here.

Intermission song:  Hit me Baby one more time!!!  Britney who???

True story: a buddy of mine plays this all the time, its a real hit at partys and on the beach.   Its an emotional song so the secret is to never hold back.

I love upgrading to 1st class!  Before the economy slump I was flying all over the country and actually earned Elite status last fall on Continental.  If you think that maybe 1st class is not all its cracked up to be?  Think again and check out difference in service.   I wonder if they served Crown & Cokes on the 1st class raft?  I would like mine shaken not stired….

Do you have any hot towels by any chance?

Stumble Upon and Yelp!

I just want to thank our professors for giving us another incredibly fun way to kill productivity.   Thanks for adding to a long list of ways of wasting time  by having fun and learning about lots of stuff on the internet.  Admittedly, its fun checking out the latest video or cool picture on Stumble Upon and browsing endless restaurants on Yelp.   I also came across a Pizza place called Pinks that sounds really good so I think I’m going to try them out.   I’m always looking for a good Pizza spot.   Has anyone been to Pinks?  It sounds kind of Girly.  However, it received great reviews on Yelp.   I will try it and give you an update in my next blog or maybe the one after that.  I wonder if they have whole wheat crust, you know its all the rage these days.

Due to popular demand, numerous requests and incredible interest, I’ve included another pic of the Dog for my Blog.  trina-img00069 As you can see she captured her Duck and from the looks of it is actually sampling the duck, it might be a bit on the undercooked side.

Till next time.  Cheers!
